The IV Cuff is unique in that its design occludes only veins without restricting arterial flow. Venous flow is reduced as the major veins are compressed against the radius and ulnar bones without impacting the arteries. This provides more comfort to the patient and will provide a better blood specimen as arterial stasis is eliminated. The IV Cuff works for both upper arm and wrist by reversing the cuff. Works great for starting IV’s especially for patients with compromised veins.
