If you have multiple microtomes in your histology area, chances are they are all aligned slightly differently. That means if you have to recut a biopsy, you’ll have to do it on the same instrument that was originally used. Simply replace the knife holder with the aligner, connect the cassette clamp and retighten for a perfectly aligned microtome.
