The CritSpin Centrifuge and reader provide a better way to read micro hematocrits than using the manual curve method.
The whisper-quiet compact system is perfect for the office, laboratory, or clinic. The reader is compatible with either conventional hematocrit centrifuges that utilize a 75mm tube or with the CritSpin centrifuge that uses 40 mm tubes designed for use with the CritSpin system.
A 2-minute spin provides complete cell packing. You can easily read the tubes while they are in the rotor because oh high intensity fiber-optic illumination. 75 mm tubes are read with the provided reader adapter. The digital HCT display reduces chance of errors with readout in percent to 0.5%. The reader is compatible with either glass tubes of SafeCrit plastic tubes in plain and heparinized formats.
